Firewall Builder aims to provide a nicer interface to IPTables: instead of running arcane shell commands, you get to visually design the tables of rules that go into your firewall. Once you're done, Firewall Builder can compile the rules you've come up with, producing a shell script which you can run to set up IPTables the way you want.
